A little piece of home, made to share.
I’m from Lima and Pucallpa, Peru. Some of my favourite memories are connected to food: the kitchen filling up before people arrived, the extra plate set out just in case, and the desserts that made everyone stay a little longer.
When I moved to Ontario, Canada, I carried those flavours with me. I started cooking and baking for friends and family, then for coworkers in Toronto. Bringing dessert became my way of sharing where I’m from, and I loved seeing people discover something new or recognize a taste they had missed.
What began around those tables grew into DULCE here in Markham. I wanted it to feel as considered as the moment you’re buying it for: a beautiful box for someone you care about, a whole cake for a birthday, or a Peruvian classic to bring home for dinner.
Today, DULCE reaches beyond Markham with delivery across the GTA. Wherever the box ends up, I hope it gives you a reason to gather, make room, and pass another slice.
